At Lash and Ink, Caroline is careful to use ink as the last option. Hypopigmented scars are ready to take ink but sometimes it is wise to use inkless before ink.

By delivering targeted needling with a tattoo pen and a high-grade serum, the scar can be broken up and the skin can start re-modeling. This can improve the colouring and tone of the scar naturally. Sometimes one session is enough of an improvement, though multiple sessions can deliver better results.

For scars that are hypopigmented, a skin tone pigment is custom blended to match the scar and thus conceal it permanently. For darker scars, the pathway is much longer. It's best to have a consultation to see if your scar is suitable.

Touch ups are required around 5-7 years and sun protection will keep the ink looking fresh.
